Monte Cristo Sandwich

Ingredients

  • 2 Slices whole wheat bread ( I used a whole wheat one that are only 60 calories per slice so only counts as 1 yellow)
  • 3 slices low sodium low fat ham
  • 1 Swiss Cheese slice halfed
  • 1 tsp mustard
  • 1 egg

Directions

  1. Spread bread with mustard. Alternate ham, Swiss and ham slices on bread.
  2. Beat egg in a small bowl. Coat the sandwich with the egg flipping it on both sides.
  3. Heat a greased skillet over medium heat, brown the sandwich on both sides. Serve hot.

1 red, 1 yellow, 1 blue
