A while back I bought a box of unflavored roasted chickpeas, thinking wouldn’t it be cool to just add your own flavor, and DAM was I smart because this was perfect and sooo easy!! Its a little bit more expensive but not a lot of hassle and I like my chickpeas extra crunchy. I picked this container up at Sobey for about 5 bucks. I decided I was looking for a sweet snack.
Maple Cinnamon Roasted Chickpeas
oven temp 425
3 tbsp Maple Syrup you can use less or more you want enough to cover your chickpeas
1 tbsp Cinnamon
1 1/2 cups Pre-made roasted chickpeas
Place all ingredients into bowl and stir. Cover cookie sheet with tinfoil (easier cleanup) and spread out evenly and bake for about 10 minutes long enough to make the coating stick to chickpeas and make them not to sticky!!

Question: Have you ever tried roasted chickpeas before or does the thought kind of weird you out?
I was so weirded out by the thought of them at first but I guess I have to do what I preach to my kid and at least try something first before you say you don’t like something!!
